The Best Eyeliner For Your Eye Shape

Whether you use a thick or thin, black, brown, or brightly coloured, when it comes to eye liners it is about drawing a smooth line. An easy way to apply eye liner is to draw tiny dots at the base of your lash line and then blend them in with a straight smooth line. If you are wearing eyelash extensions, make sure to use an oil-free eyeliner that will not harm your extensions.

Small Eyes

If you have small eyes, you want to stay away from heavy eyeliners or lash extensions, which would make your eyes look even smaller. Bottom liner always makes small eyes look smaller, so apply liner ONLY to your top lash line, trying to stay on your lash line and stay away from colour on your inner rims. To Bring out your eyes and make them look bigger, brighten up the inner rims of your eyes with a shimmery light pencil. Add some beautiful eyelash extensions and those eyes will pop out even further. By focusing on your top lash, it will open up your eyes erven further.

Round Eyes

You can make them seem longer and more exotic by giving them a winged look. Extend the eyeliner out to the side of the eyes to lengthen them. By adding eyelash extensions with longer tips at the end of the eye, you will be able to achieve the most wanted ‘Cat-eye’ look. The longer your extensions and your eyeliner, the more exotic will be your look. Another technique to balance out those eyes and make them longer is to smudge some dark liner into the upper and lower lash lines.

Close-set Eyes

To broaden eyes that are too close to each other, try using the double wing effect. Extend the eye liner on the upper and lower lash line. Keep the liner nice and thin towards the inner rim and thicken it up as you move towards the outer edge of the eye. For a more dramatic effect, do not connect the two liners but have them spaced out between them. To open those eyes further apply longer eyelash extensions at the tip of your outer eye, and it will create an illusion of achieving wide open space.

Almond-shaped Eyes

To play up the natural curve of almond-shaped eyes, apply a very thin line to the inner corners of the eyes and then increase its thickness as you extend outward. Add a slight wing at the outer edge of the eye for a more dramatic effect. Remember, if your eyes are almond-shaped but small, then avoid lining the inner rim of the eyes and don’t line the bottom lash lines because you want the eyes to stay “open.” If you have wide-set almond eyes, then accentuate the liner at the inner rim of the eye and don’t draw the eyeliner out past the outer edge of the eye.

Hooded Eye

Really work the liner right into the base of your lash line. You can experiment with thick and thin lines. Use a thick wing to draw the line up and lift the eyes. You can make your eyes appear rounder by making the line thicker at the centre of your upper eyelid, and then adding a slight wing at the outer corner of the eye. Use a liquid or gel liner for hooded eyes in order to avoid smudging. Apply beautiful and glamour eyelash extensions to open up the eye even further and give the eye a bit of luminescence.
